Following our annual tradition, we will visit another one of London’s historic cemeteries. The theme for this year’s walk with be Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and we will encourage our guests to take inspiration from the iconic 1897 gothic horror novel, and the famous 1992 movie adaptation.

As autumn’s chill settles upon London and the veil between worlds grows thin, the Society of Salome summons you to tread the haunted paths of Highgate Cemetery — a place long rumoured to have inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
In Dracula’s Shadow: A Gothic Gathering
Sunday, 26 October 2025 – 12pm
Highgate Cemetery
Dress: 1870–1890s attire, inspired by Dracula and its many cinematic forms
We shall wander amidst the tombs, seek out lurking spirits, and (with luck) avoid the vampyre who stalks the crypts. Afterward, we shall retire to a private chamber in a historic tavern nearby, where good food, good company, and a piano singalong await.
